Opening of the Exhibit „Making Invisible Rights Visible“ and presentation

5.12. Ausstellung Kinderrechte kargah c Kinder und Jugendbüro Marzahn HellersdorfHVD im LV Berlin BrandenburgTue, 12/05, 6:00 pm, kargah-Haus

Presentation “Convention on the Rights of the Child in Germany – time for a reality check" and Opening of the Exhibit „Making Invisible Rights Visible“.

In our event we draw attention to the rights of refugee children in Germany. For 25 years now, the JKV stands up for the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and for under-age refugees. In her presentation, Dörthe Hinz of the Flüchtlingsrat Niedersachsen compares aspiration and reality of the convention and its implementation in Germany. Of course, we also invite you to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the JKV.

Meanwhile, kargah e.V. shows the exhibit „Making Invisible Rights Visible“ – artistic posters and collages about Children´s and Human Rights.
Which rights and human rights violations do we want to make visible? In two artistic poster exhibits, refugee children and adults present their perspective on human rights through multilingual collages, artistic drawings and political posters.
